On March 13, 2009, the Internal Revenue Service officially designated Tenaya Estates, Inc. as a 501(c) (4) Federal income tax exempt organization.
Ultimately, TEI was established as an Association of Tenaya Park Homeowners--a unique and special community of folks from all walks of life who are highly motivated to care for their neighborhood Park. Homeowners annually pay a Fresno County tax that then Fresno County provides to TEI to pay for maintenance, etc, as delineated in "Our Purpose" section on this page.

General Purpose
To engage in any lawful act or activity related to the maintenance and operation of a park and other infrastructure facilities for the benefit of persons owning property in, or residing in, County Service Area (CSA) No. 2 -- the Tenaya Estates subdivision located generally between north Fruit Avenue on the west, Sierra Avenue on the north, the Harrison Avenue alignment on the east, and Escalon Avenue on the south -- in Fresno County, California.
Specific Purposes
1) To operate, maintain, and improve a park and park facilities, including walkways, lights, playground equipment, sprinklers, water system, trees, shrubs, and lawn, within CSA No. 2.
2) To construct, operate, and maintain other public infrastructure facilities within the CSA No. 2 boundaries.
3) To provide other community services and activities for the benefit of properties located within, or persons residing within, CSA No. 2.
