Our Volunteers

Tenaya Park is a private park run by the Board of Directors of Tenaya Estates, Incorporated.  The Board consists of Tenaya Estates volunteers who remain committed to keeping Tenaya Park beautiful and safe for neighbor families to enjoy.

Tenaya Park was built in the  1960s when the Tenaya Estates subdivision was established. 


In 2007, California's Secretary of State approved the Articles of Incorporation of Tenaya Estates, Inc. The purpose of this corporation is to operate and maintain a park and park facilities, including walkway lights, playground equipment, sprinklers, 

Tenaya Park was built in the  1960s when the Tenaya Estates subdivision was established. 


In 2007, California's Secretary of State approved the Articles of Incorporation of Tenaya Estates, Inc. The purpose of this corporation is to operate and maintain a park and park facilities, including walkway lights, playground equipment, sprinklers, water system, trees, shrubs and lawn, all located within the Tenaya Estates subdivision located generally between Fruit Avenue, Sierra Avenue, the Harrison Avenue alignment, and Escalon Avenue, all in the incorporated area of Fresno County, California.


In 2025, the Park is benefiting from substantial improvements funded by a federal grant via The American Recoveries Act. Improvements include: 


  • play area shade structure with expected 10- to 15-year life
  • play area deck replacement with easy-to-replace tiles
  • new wood bollards with same chain
  • additional benches
  • drinking fountain with ADA access
  • extra trash bins
  • dog poop bags

Park Visitor Information

Tenaya Park is funded and run by its neighbors in Tenaya Estates. Park hours are 6:00am-9:00pm. County ordinances will be enforced within Tenaya Park.


  • Shoes with any type of cleats (plastic, metal, spikes) are prohibited. 
  • Sports practice on a regular basis, organized or league sports team play, and recurring sports are prohibited. 
  • Dogs mus

Tenaya Park is funded and run by its neighbors in Tenaya Estates. Park hours are 6:00am-9:00pm. County ordinances will be enforced within Tenaya Park.

  • Dogs must be on a LEASH and under immediate control of a person.  
  • Please CLEAN UP after your dog.
  • Golf clubs and golf balls shall not be used at the Park. 
  • Commercial activities are prohibited.
  • No restrooms available. 
  • Please clean up after enjoying the Park.


We appreciate all visitors leaving the Park cleaner than it was upon arrival. Thank you for respecting the Park so many more neighbors and future generations may continue to enjoy this hidden gem.
